The Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department is deeply saddened by the tragic loss of our Department President Michael Purdy.
Mike was a devoted member of the department. He joined department after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center and the Pentagon in 2001. Upon joining the Department, he became involved in all its aspects. Mike was an Ex-Captain of Engine Company 3 and served as Department President for the 4 years preceding his untimely death.
Mike’s approach to life and his sense of humor made him a very popular member, and he was deeply loved by all of our Membership.

It is with deep regret that the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Willis Goodrow, father of Life Member John Goodrow, and grandfather of Chief Ron Roodrow. Mr. Goodrow was also a Ex-Chief of the Bedford Hills Fire Department.
An announcement of the details for funeral services will be forthcoming.

It is with deep regret that the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department announces the passing of Life Member Mike Lena, Sr.
Funeral services will be held May 8th and 9th, from 2-4pm and 7-9pm at Joseph Smith Funeral Home in Mahopac.
Fire department services will be held May 9th, from 7-9pm. All members are requested to attend in full dress uniform.
