Mahopac Volunteer Fire Dept. Ice Rescue Training at Lake Mahopac

On February 16 and 17, thirteen members of the Mahopac Volunteer Fire Department participated in basic and advanced ice rescue training. The training consisted of both classroom training and practical live ice rescue both day and at night. The Ice Rescue Team trained on the use of an infrared camera to track victims and rescuers at night. The team trained on Lake Mahopac, NY.
